The who, what, and where of me
Hi, I’m Tracey, and this is my New Year’s resolution. Technically, this blog is the result of one of my New Year’s resolutions. I am attempting yet again to take a photo a day and post the results right here. Lucky you, huh?
I am a former (not by choice, that word) children’s librarian and proud owner of Storytime Kids, a company that conducts custom StoryParties for kids, which you can find here. I’m into photography–you can find more of my photos on flickr. If you are interested in using any of my photos in any way, please contact me at tracey.jipson at gmail, I almost always say yes. If you really like what you see, my photos are for sale here.
I am also into gardening (flowers, although I have an ever-expanding interest in having a vegetable garden), cooking (nothing fancy, and I HATE to do the clean up) , and reading (mysteries, magazines and non-fiction, please). I like warm weather, sunshine, and taking my dog for a walk. If I could live anywhere in the States, I would choose to live in Raleigh, North Carolina. If I could vacation anywhere in the states, I would choose The Beach. I hate to fly (I am NOT afraid to fly, I just don’t like to) so I have never traveled overseas–that kind of travel goes in the “someday” category. My fear doesn’t stop me from having some dream destinations, which would have to be the Netherlands, Tahiti, Iceland, or the Mediterranean. Ah, someday…
Here’s the truly important stuff: I am lucky enough to have a wonderful husband, Art, a beautiful dog, Savannah, and any number of lovable cats.
If you like minutia, I tweet here. My business profile can be found here. You can also find me on Facebook.
